We are seeking a qualified Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit. This role requires expertise in telemetry and cardiology, with a strong background in cardiac care.

Unit Description

The Medical Cardiology Unit specializes in providing care to patients with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips.
• Provide post-catheterization care, including for PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures.
• Utilize TR Band and femoral approach for patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with a strong cardiac background.
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips effectively.
• Experience administering cardiac drips.
• Must possess an active Massachusetts RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience working as a traveler in nursing is preferred.

Patient Care Details

The RN-to-patient ratio is 1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 during night shifts.

Schedule

The position requires a rotating schedule with weekend obligations.
