Description

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our team for an immediate 13-week assignment. This position requires expertise in orthopedic procedures, general surgery, and obstetrics, specifically in C-sections.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring effective communication and coordination among the surgical team.
Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Monitor patient care during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
Provide support and assistance to surgeons and surgical staff during various procedures, including orthopedic (total joints), general, OB, and other surgical specialties.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
Proficiency in orthopedic surgeries, general surgery, and obstetric C-sections.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Experience with special procedures and equipment used in Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, and Endoscopy.

Schedule:

Shifts are Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 15:00. Call required every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday.
