Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pediatric respiratory care, particularly within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level respiratory care to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU environments.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to various locations within the region as required, including Shaker Children's Rehab and multiple NICUs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio RRT license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy, specifically in NICU, PICU, and level 4 care environments.
• Current certifications in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS are required.

Schedule

The position offers flexible scheduling options including 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite prior to starting and another through the agency.
• All work history must be documented, including previous positions held.
• All required certifications must be submitted at the time of application.
