We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with pediatric experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires expertise in critical care settings, along with a commitment to providing top-notch respiratory care to young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate patient symptoms and histories to assess needs and recommend appropriate respiratory interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically Epic, for documentation and patient management.
• Float to designated areas as required, ensuring full support for multiple locations within the region.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Pediatric experience is required, with ICU experience essential.
• Preferably, candidates should have NICU experience.
• Must possess an active Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Level I trauma experience is highly preferred.
• Professionals must be nicotine-free and willing to undergo testing as part of the hiring process.
• Flu vaccination is a requirement during the flu season; no exemptions will be accepted.

Work Schedule:

• This position requires 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend scheduled.
• Staff may be required to work at least one winter holiday as needed by the department.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet department needs.
