Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist responsible for providing skilled therapy services in alignment with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop treatment and discharge plans, and deliver therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and family members.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Active state OT license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
