Description

Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The primary responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families.
Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
Active state Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain).
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
