Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The primary responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at improving patients’ independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) according to practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Possession of an active state Occupational Therapy license or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
