Job Summary

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment. The position involves a combination of routine patient care and support for those with complex medical needs, primarily focusing on adult and geriatric populations.

Shift Details

• Days: 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on facility needs
• Floating: Required to float to other facilities based on need and patient census

Patient Demographics

The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics with various medical conditions, including:

• Respiratory diseases
• Infections
• Dementia
• Neurological issues

Work Environment

Our unit promotes a healthy work environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Each shift is overseen by a charge RN to facilitate patient flow and overall operational management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in the field
• Proficient in Medical Surgical and Telemetry skills; must possess the necessary competencies
• Current South Carolina RN license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must pass EKG exam

Documentation and Medication Systems

• Medication System: Omnicell
• Documentation System: EPIC (at least one year of experience required)

Special Procedures

Although primarily a medical-surgical unit, nurses may need to float to telemetry floors as required. Proficiency in managing patients with telemetry needs is essential.
