Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a comprehensive role encompassing both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. This position involves working full-time in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required
Mandatory availability for holiday shifts on December 24 and 25

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic units
Monitor and manage telemetry patients, focusing on oncology, cardiac, and progressive care needs
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress

Qualifications

Must possess telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
Experience with mechanical ventilation and transplant patients is required
Current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license is necessary
BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA are required
Successful completion of a telemetry test will be required prior to starting the position
