Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess both adult and pediatric emergency department experience, along with strong capabilities in providing critical care.

Shift Requirements

3x12-hour shifts available:

Mid Shift: 15:00 - 03:30
Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30

Weekend and holiday rotation is mandatory.

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years.
Epic experience is required.
Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required.
Certifications required:

BLS - AHA ONLY
PALS - AHA ONLY
ACLS - AHA ONLY
TNCC certification

The candidate must pass a Telemetry test prior to clearance to start.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department.
Assess and triage patients efficiently.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans.
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as needed.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care options.
Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
