Description

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be prepared to deliver high-quality care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) and occasionally float to the ICU unit.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the IMC/ICU setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with staff and families.

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 travel assignment completed.
ICU experience is required.
Proficiency with Cerner EMR is mandatory.
Candidates must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours. The candidate will be expected to work every other weekend, totaling 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) during a six-week period.

Additional Information

All employees are required to have the Flu vaccine.
