About the Position
This role involves rotating between multiple locations, including the Nuclear Medicine Departments at various facilities. The position requires collaboration with other full-time team members.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
- Rotating call 7 days a week
- BBMP campus hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM
- Weekend and Holiday: Call only
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including:
- Bone scans (whole body and 3-phase)
- HIDA scans
- GI bleed imaging
- Lymphoscintigraphy
- Parathyroid imaging
- Thyroid uptake studies
- Renal scans with Lasix
- Lung scans
- MUGA scans
- WBC infection imaging
- MPI stress tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Float between general nuclear medicine and cardiology services as needed.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine
- BLS certification
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification
- State license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
- Preferred:
- ARRT (CT) certification
- B.S. or B.A. in a related field
Additional Information
- Radiation badge: Must be provided by the agency; not supplied by the organization.
- Open to accommodating block schedules, subject to approval.
- Guaranteed hours policy allows for the facility to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June - November). Early confirmation for new assignments is requested during this period.

The position is located within a level II trauma, acute care hospital environment, utilizing Epic for charting.
