Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a pre-operative and phase I and phase II setting. This position operates Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1730, with staffing coverage from 0630 to 1930. The RN will work 10-hour shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during the pre-operative and post-operative phases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Educate patients and their families on pre-operative and post-operative care procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all aspects of patient care.

On-Call Requirements

The role includes on-call responsibilities with an expectation of:

• 3-4 shifts per month, including 1 weekend day from 0700 to 0700.
• 2-3 weekday shifts from 1730 to 0700.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in a surgical or peri-operative setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the facility.
