Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while effectively collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Schedule
- Orientation: Every Monday
- Shifts: 3x12 hour shifts, rotating between mid and day shifts (1500-0300 or 1100-2300)
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend, with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule (Friday & Saturday nights)
- Holiday Coverage: Required
Patient Care Ratio
The RN will manage a patient ratio of 1:4-6, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Completion of at least one travel assignment required
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
- Proficiency in CERNER electronic health record system is mandatory
Certifications Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Uniform Requirements
RNs are required to wear scrubs in Royal Blue color, which will not be provided by the employer.
Vaccination Requirements
All employees must have the Flu vaccine.
