Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Nights, 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Duration: 52 weeks
- Work required: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
- Request to work around Christmas is not permitted
Qualifications
- Current RRT certification and BLS certification required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience required; candidates with at least 2 years of experience may be considered
- ACCS certification preferred
- Must have a valid Virginia license pending; candidates can submit with this condition provided they obtain a temporary license before starting
- Must hold a license from another state to be eligible for a temporary license
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients as per established protocols
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and home care practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment plans
