Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical/surgical unit focused on innovation and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed medical/surgical unit.
• Utilize advanced nursing practices and innovative technologies.
• Ensure optimal patient ratios of 1:6.
• Participate in self-scheduling within assigned groups that rotate weekly.
• Float between departments to meet staffing needs as required.

Shift Details

This position involves 3x12 hour shifts, primarily during the day, from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Holiday Rotation

The Registered Nurse will participate in a holiday rotation, with the expectation to work on assigned holidays. If one holiday falls during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work it; if two fall, expect to work one; and if three fall, expect to work two.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• Please note: Pending licenses are not accepted.
