Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic cardiac/pulmonary telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or equivalent.
Current certifications including AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Active TN or compact nursing license is required.
Experience with travel assignments is preferred.
Local candidates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply and will be considered at the same rate.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiac/pulmonary telemetry unit. Responsibilities may include:

Monitoring patient vital signs and ensuring stability in low acuity situations.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Floating to other medical/surgical or telemetry units or ICU as required.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educating patients and their families on care plans and procedures.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for the night shift, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
