Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. This position focuses on providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit, ensuring the well-being of patients while monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes in their condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing necessary medical procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license from Ohio or a compact state.
• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing is required.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Shift Information

This position requires working day shifts, comprising three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
