Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry role. This position is ideal for individuals with a solid background in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry care.
Schedule
The role requires night shifts comprising three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and assist with various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
- Possess a current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
