Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The nurse will be responsible for providing quality care to adult patients with a variety of acute medical conditions, including cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary issues. The RN will engage in the coordination of direct patient care and educate patients and their families on health management and recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring comprehensive assessment and treatment.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Must be available to work every other Saturday with Sundays off.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule

This position involves working 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15, with block scheduling available.
