40-hour guarantee with weekend and holiday coverage required as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing as a First Assist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while assisting during surgical procedures.

Unit Information

• Unit size: 8 beds

Dress Code

Facility-provided scrubs will be issued for this position.

Scheduling Requirements

• Requested time off (RTO) during this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of upload.
• RTO requests after submission will not be approved. A maximum of 5 days will be accepted.
• Must work two blocks during key holiday periods, including:
• Thanksgiving Day through the weekend
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend
• New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and weekend

Orientation and Call Requirements

An 8-hour non-billable orientation is required. Call is required by rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle for this position.

Profile Requirements

• Work history documentation is required.
• A skills checklist for Operating Room and First Assist must be current within the past year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required.
• A valid Massachusetts RN license must be uploaded with the profile.
• Active and current CNOR certification is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification must be included.
