We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Surgical Technologist with experience in orthopedic procedures to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in scrubbing for surgeries and have hands-on experience with the Da Vinci surgical system. This role involves ensuring a sterile environment and assisting surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the surgical patient and environment by performing assigned duties under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Function as scrub personnel, demonstrating precise and efficient reactions to all situations during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and handle equipment effectively.
• May be required to precept new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist, having completed an accredited program.
• Must have travel experience and the ability to adapt to various surgical settings.
• Experience with orthopedic surgical procedures is required.
• Proficiency in scrubbing for surgeries and familiarity with the Da Vinci surgical system.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection procedures for surgical instruments and equipment.
• BLS certification is required.

Work Schedule

• Evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts may be required.
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in.
