Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Radiology Technician with specialized experience in the Cath Lab. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional radiology tasks.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week
• 9 shifts per month minimum
• Available for call coverage 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the C-Arm machine and perform routine lead maintenance
• Assist in catheterization procedures, including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
• Insert and manage medical devices such as Impella and balloon pumps
• Scrub and assist in interventional radiology procedures including:
• Nephrostomy tube insertion
• PICC line insertion
• Permacath insertion
• Pacemaker insertion
• Cerebral thrombectomy

Qualifications:

• Must have Cath Lab experience
• Certification in fluoroscopy required
• Preference for candidates with an ARRT license from New Jersey
• Radiology Technician should possess skills equivalent to that of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
