Unit Description

This unit comprises 32 beds and caters to a diverse range of medical conditions including cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry patients.

Schedule

• 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekdays with every other weekend required
• Orientation is conducted every other week on Thursday
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Floating within scope may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of experience in the specialty preferred
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must possess a valid RN license or be eligible for a compact RN license
• Candidates with pending RN licenses may apply

Additional Information

• Registered Nurses will be part of a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital.
• The type of facility includes short-term acute care.
• Scrub colors are Royal Blue and White for RNs.
• Charting will be conducted using Cerner.
• Free parking is available for travelers.

• All personnel must take the flu vaccine unless exempted for medical reasons.
