Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Pediatric Sonographer with a minimum of one year of experience in pediatric sonography. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease, ensuring high-quality echocardiographic studies for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies across the full spectrum of fetal congenital heart disease (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography.
• Provide coverage for NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU, recognizing and triaging emergent situations as required.
• Communicate findings effectively to cardiologists through written reports.
• Maintain and care for echocardiographic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Log and process billing for procedures performed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric sonography.
• Extensive knowledge of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARDMS certification is required; registry in Pediatric Echocardiography is preferred.
• Experience in fetal echocardiography is encouraged; adult echocardiography experience is a plus.

Equipment & Technology

• Utilization of Phillips equipment for echocardiographic procedures.
• Experience with EMR and PACS systems, specifically Epic and Fuji CV Synapse.

Orientation

Orientation for this position will take place over 1-2 weeks.

Scrubs will be provided in Caribbean Blue color.
