Description

Oncology Infusion Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team. This position involves administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an ambulatory oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and expectations:

Job Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other infusion medications to patients.
Demonstrate competency in administration through a required chemotherapy test.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing treatment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust care plans as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of infusion experience.
Ambulatory oncology experience preferred.
BLS certification is required.
Candidates must successfully complete a chemotherapy competency assessment.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC, is preferred.

Shift Information

The expected work hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Attire

Scrubs are to be worn in blue for this position.
