Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our nursing team specializing in Neurosurgery. This position involves working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, offering the opportunity to work both full-time and part-time. Weekend rotation and holidays may also be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Neurosurgery unit.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Epic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro MS/T (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) nursing required.
• Active and valid RN license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.

Additional Requirements

The selected candidate will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting in the role.

Shift Details

• Night shift, 12-hour schedule (1900 - 0730).
• 3 nights per week, with potential flexibility for 4/12 shifts.
