Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment that includes a range of healthcare responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients in a 45-bed progressive care department.
- Monitor patients remotely via centralized cardiac monitoring.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage medication administration and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring:
- Three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Every other weekend.
- Holiday availability as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory.
Unit Information
The Progressive Care Unit consists of all private rooms, equipped with centralized cardiac monitoring to ensure patient safety and optimal care. The unit features well-organized nursing stations, along with conference and storage rooms to enhance workflow efficiency.
