Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team specializing in general surgery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various surgical practices, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with instruments, sutures, and supplies needed for surgeries.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are identified, counted, and maintained to avoid any discrepancies.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and nursing staff throughout procedures.
• Be available for orientation and training as required by the surgical team.

Schedule

• Shift: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM, four days per week with Wednesday off.
• Flexibility to adjust to day shifts if required.
• No weekend commitments.
• On-call requirement of one shift per month, if needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular, and urology.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• NBSTSA certification is mandatory.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Completion of the facility's Operating Room Orientation is required.
