Description

Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a strong background in electrophysiology (EP), with a firm commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Shift

Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:00)
On-call: Required one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend.
Weekend Commitment: On-call approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

Provide effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Monitor patients' conditions and respond to any changes during procedures.
Assist with catheterizations and other cardiology-related procedures.
Coordinate and collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical record system (Epic).
May float within the scope to meet facility needs, including Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR).

Qualifications

Active RN license in Alaska required; pending licenses accepted but must obtain license for auto-offer.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required.
Experience in electrophysiology (EP) is strongly preferred.
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.
Local candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks; travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.
Requests for time off will be considered on an individual basis upon offer; only one request allowed per 13-week assignment.
Parking is complimentary for staff.
