Shift Information

Various shifts, including evenings and nights. Candidates should be prepared to work 12-hour shifts, totaling 72-80 hours every two weeks. Holiday coverage is required.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings is mandatory.

Certifications

Candidates must possess the following certifications:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• BLS/Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Role Responsibilities

The Critical Care Float Pool Nurse will be responsible for:

• Caring for patients in the ER and ICU.
• Floating to other nursing units as needed to assist with patient care.
• Expediting care on different floors.
• Sitting with patients and providing support.
• Assisting with patient transport.
• Monitoring telemetry as required.
• Participating as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams.
