Shift Information

This position primarily operates during the day shift, with hours varying according to the operating room schedule. The role includes being on-call, which may occasionally require work during holidays.

• Schedule: 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week

Minimum Experience Required

1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Certifications and Requirements

• Current Washington state license or Multi-State license
• Experience as an Operating Room Circulator is required
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Job Responsibilities

The Operating Room Circulator is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive nursing care to all patients. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe and efficient environment in the operating room
• Directing and coordinating patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Acting as a liaison between the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
• Monitoring patient status and responding to changes in condition
• Adhering to infection control procedures and hospital policies
