Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This position is designed for a professional with a passion for rehabilitation and patient care, working primarily in an outpatient setting with occasional responsibilities in inpatient care.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (07:30 - 18:00), with one Saturday shift per month in an inpatient/acute rehab setting.
• Patient Ratios: 1 therapist to 4 patients.
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Weekend Requirement: One Saturday shift per month.
• Float Requirement: No floating between locations required.
• Block Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide treatment and support for various diagnoses, including joint replacements, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), pain management, fractures, neurological conditions, deconditioning, and vestibular issues.
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation services, such as Speech Therapy (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT), to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing Cerner charting system.
• Work closely with physical therapy assistants (PTAs) to enhance patient care and treatment delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, with acceptance of pending applications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and scheduling.
