We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OR nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the operating room environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in various orthopedic, neurosurgical, ENT, general, and eye procedures.
• Ensure that all required surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Charge experience is required.
• Pediatric OR experience is preferred.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
• Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC.
• Must be a non-smoker; facility requires nicotine testing as part of the hiring process.
• Ability to scrub in surgical procedures is preferred, though not required.

Work Schedule

This position typically involves a Monday through Friday work week, with a combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. There are no 12-hour shifts available.
