Position Overview
Join a dynamic team as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN). This role is essential for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while supporting patients undergoing interventional procedures.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 5x8, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- On-call Requirements: Yes, once every four weeks (1 week at a time, Monday to Sunday)
- Weekend Requirements: On-call only
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Interventional Radiology unit.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in pediatric/adult vascular interventional radiology and circulating for interventional procedures.
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- License: Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License
- Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers.

- Local Radius: 60 miles
- Local Candidates: Not accepted
- RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval is based on facility needs.
- Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Operational Notes
During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Prospective candidates should take this into consideration when confirming assignments during this period.
Work Environment
This is a tertiary hospital setting with no parking costs and provided scrubs. Charting will be completed through the Epic system.
