Description

X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology.

Responsibilities

Conduct general X-ray imaging and assist with surgical cases.
Provide imaging support in emergency rooms, outpatient units, and inpatient settings.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs using Epic charting.
Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Schedule

This position follows a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, approximately from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend and on-call duties are not required.

Requirements

General X-ray certification.
Ability to cover a variety of imaging cases, including surgical procedures.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Epic charting is preferred.

Work Environment

The position operates within a Level IV Trauma Center, focused on providing high-quality, responsive patient care.

Additional Information

Scrubs of any color are acceptable in the workplace. There are no parking fees for staff.
