Job Description

A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is sought to provide essential therapeutic support to patients in a rehabilitation setting. This role involves working collaboratively with licensed physical therapists to assist in the treatment and recovery of individuals with physical disabilities. The PTA will be responsible for implementing treatment plans and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed by physical therapists.
• Provide direct patient care and support during therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition or concerns to supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and treatment techniques to aid recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities, responses, and progress.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient rehabilitation activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for daytime shifts, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
