Contract Surgical Technologist (ST)

Job Description

A contract Surgical Technologist is needed to provide essential support in a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) environment. This position focuses on maximizing efficiency and patient care by assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures by preparing sterile instruments and equipment.
Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure safety during operations.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow.
Follow established protocols and guidelines in the surgical setting.
Handle and manage surgical instruments accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for day shifts and may involve holiday coverage as needed.
