Description

Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in the Oncology unit.

Key Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and manage oncology patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
Float to similar units as required to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

Current or pending Alaska RN license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical oncology setting.
Required certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC.
Chemo administration experience is mandatory.

Schedule

This position requires a variable shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend coverage may occur based on staffing needs. Guaranteed hours are a minimum of 60 hours every two weeks, with potential for a call-off for one 12-hour shift during this period.

Scrub color will be provided.
Parking is free for all staff.
