Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position involves operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and relevant state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures effectively and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning optimally.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
• Must be familiar with state and federal regulations related to radiologic practices.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills are essential.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

Work Schedule

The position requires availability Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, with every other Saturday and Sunday shifts included.

Certifications Required

• DCI/BVP certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
