Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to provide treatment in various patient care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and swing bed scenarios. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to adapt quickly and work independently while delivering high-quality patient care.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Variable - 5x8 Days

• First Timers Accepted: Yes
• Certifications Required: BLS, NBCOT, AK License
• Floating: Yes - role includes covering outpatient, acute care, and long-term care as needed
• Block Schedule: Open to accommodating
• Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize effective therapeutic techniques for a range of diagnoses including dementia, aphasia, and progressive neurological diseases.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Work with patients across various age groups, including infants and adolescents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Clinical expertise in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and swing bed settings.

Housing Information
