Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical Surgical nursing to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within the scope of practice while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Schedule

• Weekend: Every other weekend required
• Schedule: Must be flexible to accommodate facility scheduling; no schedule requests can be submitted or approved.
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Time Off and Compliance

• Return to Office (RTO): A maximum of 7 days, with blackout dates from August 5-10, 2026.
• Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. Non-compliance may lead to a push back of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Holiday Expectations

Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as follows:

• If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
• If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.
• If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two.

Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Additional Information

Orientation hours are non-billable and are determined by contract length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

Local candidates are welcome and will receive the same rate as others.
