Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to work night shifts. The position involves a 12-hour shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend rotation and some holiday shifts required. There is no on-call duty associated with this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Utilize the NextStage Continuous Venous Venous Hemofiltration (CVVH) machine effectively.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform routine telemetry monitoring and take appropriate action as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas is preferred.
• Proven experience in CVICU is required.
• Candidates must pass a telemetry test before starting the position.

Scheduling Options

• Preferred scheduling of 3x12-hour shifts per week.
• Consideration for 4x12-hour shifts if preferred by the traveler.
• Option for blocked weekends scheduling available upon request.
