Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves day shifts of either 8 or 10 hours with on-call responsibilities.
Shift Notes
- Day shifts - 8 or 10 hours
- 40-hour work week with call
- Call every 4th or 5th weekend
- Availability for holidays as needed or scheduled
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Operating Room is classified as a Trauma Level III unit, and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is Cerner.
Qualifications
- Must have circulating experience in the operating room
- Scrub experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in the following procedures is required: General, OB, Orthopedics, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
Certification Requirements
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid license to practice nursing in New Hampshire
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be noted during the submission process; no more than three days of RTO will be accepted
- Must work during critical holiday periods, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, if scheduled
