Position Information
- Role: RN
- Specialty: ICU
- Shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU
- Float Requirements: May float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience. Floating to any Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) at the organization with patient ratios of 1:3 in IMC.
Education & Certifications Required
- Required Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 32 (20 Medical, 12 Neuro ICU)
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Equipment: Standard ICU equipment
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile
- Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional 3 years of ICU experience preferred
- Type of Patients on Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit treating patients with complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and others.
- Personality Fit: Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to outstanding patient care, effective team communication, and a desire to excel as both a team member and an individual.
