Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN

Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the OB/GYN specialty, you will collaborate with physicians to create a comprehensive plan of care that promotes optimal health for patients. You will provide bedside nursing care, execute medical orders, and oversee the functions of nursing support staff, including Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, Nursing Clerks, and Psychiatric Technicians. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of care plans in place.

Shift Information:

36-hour guarantee
Every other weekend required
On-call duties as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB nursing is required.
AWHONN certification must be current and obtained within the last two years.
Certifications in NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA) are required.
Active Michigan State License is mandatory at the time of application.
