Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and experience in a hybrid unit. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support patients and families with education and resources.

Schedule

• Night shifts: 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.
• Weekend rotation and participation in holiday schedules are required.
• Standby call may be necessary as needed.
• Alternative scheduling of 4x12-hour shifts may be available with additional weekend commitment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (AHA only).
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN in medical-surgical and Progressive Care Units (PCU) is required.
• First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit.
• Successful completion of a telemetry exam is required prior to assignment start.
