Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position involves working night shifts and requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care under a variety of circumstances.

Shift Details

12-hour night shifts: 18:30 - 07:00
Weekend rotation required
Coverage for every other holiday
Potential for a 4x12 schedule if willing to work more weekends

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment
Monitor patients with complex needs, including occasional ICU patients
Conduct assessments and implement care plans based on patient requirements
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of the assignment

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
If traveling for the first time, at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is required
Current RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)

Additional Information

This position may require standby call as needed.
