Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on Medical-Surgical nursing. This role involves providing high-quality patient care during night shifts and requires flexibility in a rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and telemetry data.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Occasionally care for ICU patients as needed.
• Participate in standby call as required.

Shift Details

This position is primarily a night shift role working 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00). There is potential for a 4x12 schedule if willing to work additional weekends. Expect rotation for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) required.
• If this is your first travel assignment, at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is necessary.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required (American Heart Association only).

Additional Requirements

Traveler candidates must successfully pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of their assignment.
