Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment on the Renal unit. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Position Details
- Shift: 3x12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30)
- Ratios: 1:6-7
- Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required
- Floating: May float to other medical/surgical units as needed
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Licensure: Must possess a South Carolina license or a Compact license prior to start
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Additional Information
- Block Schedule: Accommodation request can be made but not guaranteed
- Local Radius: 60 miles
- Local Candidates: Not accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: One shift per two-week period may be called off
Please note, during hurricane season (June through November), all personnel may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should avoid confirming any new or extended assignments during this timeframe if it poses a concern.
